Developmental Disability Support Specialist

SalaryThe estimated annual salary for this position is $52,520, commensurate with experience.
Job DescriptionAs a Developmental Disability Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with severe or profound developmental disabilities in achieving their goals and maximizing their independence.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized service plans to promote skill development and community engagement
- Provide direct care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities
- Coordinate and participate in resident outings and leisure activities
- Contribute to Residents' annual Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and quarterly reviews
- Train Direct Care staff on skills development and ensure they are informed of resident progress
- Bachelor's degree in a related field from a four-year college or university
- 3 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Must be 21 years or older
- Paid Training
- Immediate accrual of Paid Time Off
