Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $52,520, commensurate with experience.

Job Description

As a Developmental Disability Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with severe or profound developmental disabilities in achieving their goals and maximizing their independence.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized service plans to promote skill development and community engagement
  • Provide direct care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities
  • Coordinate and participate in resident outings and leisure activities
  • Contribute to Residents' annual Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and quarterly reviews
  • Train Direct Care staff on skills development and ensure they are informed of resident progress
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from a four-year college or university
  • 3 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Must be 21 years or older
