Custodial Worker

Job Summary:

Vocational Guidance Services is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodial Worker to join our team. As a Custodial Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in our commercial cleaning accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete assigned custodial responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure a high level of quality in all tasks performed, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming hallways, stairs, and office space.
• Empty and clean wastebaskets and trash containers, as well as ash trays and cigarette urns.
• Handle recycling materials and refill restroom dispensers.
• Operate a power vacuum and follow all safety procedures when using equipment.
• Inform the Account Manager of any equipment malfunctions or unusual occurrences on the job.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a positive manner.

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass background checks as required by site.
• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Ability to work on holidays that fall on regularly scheduled days.
