Job Summary

The Process Improvement Specialist will be responsible for driving process continuous improvement and automation efforts within the Enterprise Services Procurement and Program Services team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • SUPPORT THE ESTABLISHMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF PROCESS OPERATING POLICIES AND PROCEDURES FOR PROCUREMENT AND PROGRAM SERVICES.
  • DRIVE PROCESS CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT EFFORTS THROUGH DATA-DRIVEN ANALYSIS AND COLLABORATION WITH STAKEHOLDERS.
  • DEVELOP AND EXECUTE PROCESS STANDARDIZATION STRATEGIES TO ENHANCE EFFECTIVENESS AND EFFICIENCY.
  • SUPPORT PROCESS AUTOMATION INITIATIVES USING ROBOTIC PROCESS AUTOMATION (RPA) AND BUSINESS PROCESS MANAGEMENT (BPM).
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain as a Buyer, Subcontract Manager, Material Program Manager, Business Process Management (Supply Chain Operations), Material Planner, Customs Processor, Financial Affordability Analyst, Supplier Data Analyst, or in process documentation and automation.
  • At least one year of experience working with SAP ECC (PRISM/APEX).
  • U.S. citizenship required due to government contractual requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong communication, meeting facilitation, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, with working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with change management activities, presentation skills, and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with Global Customs, Universal Commodity Codes, and the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
  • Ability to travel to RTX sites as required.
Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $77,000 USD - $163,000 USD per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, you may be eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.

This is a hybrid role, requiring occasional travel to RTX sites. The successful candidate must reside within commuting distance from Richardson, TX or Tucson, AZ.
