Job DescriptionThe Center Medical Director will support the Director of Medical Operations by providing exceptional clinical care delivery within the center, consistent with Concentra's clinical model. This includes ensuring optimal clinical outcomes for our workforce patient population.
As Medical Director, you will share responsibilities with the Center Leadership Team, including onboarding, coaching, and ensuring standard workflows are followed. You will also provide clinical coverage, treating patients and creating space to perform delegated Medical Director responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 100% center-based direct patient care, mentoring, leading by example, and demonstrating clinical excellence and an exceptional patient experience.
- Collaborate under Director of Medical Operations (DMO) direction to identify opportunities to improve clinical quality, workflows, safety, center performance, patient and client experience, and satisfaction metrics.
- Work with the Center Leadership and director teams (primarily DMO and Director of Clinical Services (DCS)) to identify clinical improvement opportunities and ensure appropriate support and workflow compliance that foster an environment optimal for patient care.
- Maintain and leverage relationships with employers, payers, referral sources, networks, and local communities to drive market growth.
- Assist DMO and EA in managing center staffing and adjustments for unforeseen coverage needs.
- May be required to observe drug/alcohol testing of patients.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A current unrestricted medical license in the state of jurisdiction as required for clinical and/or business duties.
- An unrestricted DEA license for the state of jurisdiction.
- A medical degree (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
