Critical Care Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team at UCHealth. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for providing top-notch care to patients with acute medical conditions.
About the RoleThis Critical Care Nurse position requires a strong background in nursing, with a focus on critical thinking, problem-solving, and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes, prioritizing wellness, patient safety, and evidence-based practice.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver direct patient care utilizing the nursing process, tailoring interventions to meet the individual needs of each patient.
- Prioritize patient safety and quality, actively contributing to a culture of excellence within the organization.
- Collaborate with colleagues from various disciplines to achieve seamless patient care, fostering open communication and a positive working environment.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices, adhering to established guidelines and standards of care.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A valid RN license, graduate of an accredited or state-approved Registered Nursing program.
- At least 6 months of experience in a related field, preferably in Acute Care settings.
- Current ACLS certification, obtained within 6 months of hire date.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or equivalent, prior to start date.
