The successful candidate will provide exceptional patient care, working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to achieve optimal outcomes. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing competent, safe, and compassionate care based on established NYU Langone Health Patient Care and Nursing Standards
- Formulating the initial plan of care with the provider physician or nurse practitioner and collaborating with them to implement a comprehensive patient-centered plan of care
- Collecting, assessing, and documenting patient healthcare data
- Involving patients and families in the identification of a plan of care and outcomes
- Prioritizing care based on data collected
- Implementing interventions in the coordination of patient care in a safe, timely, and appropriate manner
Requirements:
- Current Registered Professional Nurse in New York
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association
- Fluent written and spoken English language skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Membership in pertinent professional organizations
