About the Role
The schedule for this position will be Friday through Monday from 8 AM to 6 PM. The Culinary Specialist is tasked with the precise and efficient preparation of a diverse range of food items in accordance with designated work instructions, menus, and guidelines, while adhering to food safety and handling protocols.

This role requires demonstrated experience and knowledge in the preparation of both hot and cold food items, as well as proficiency in standardized knife skills.

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to multi-task and maintain composure under pressure, utilizing quick problem-solving skills to address any challenges that may arise.

Essential Functions:
- Review the Daily Prep List at the beginning of each shift for assigned tasks and complete opening and closing checklists daily.
- Prepare workstation with all necessary ingredients and cooking equipment.
- Safely operate a variety of kitchen utensils, including knives and other tools.
- Familiarity with and adherence to standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen policies, recipes, and procedures.
- Properly handle, store, label, and rotate all products in compliance with applicable state regulations.
- Follow designated instructions to maintain adequate levels of food products at line stations to ensure smooth service.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Capability to work in both hot and cold conditions during food preparation.
- This role involves physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods.
