We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at Upstream Rehabilitation in Prattville, AL.

Estimated Salary:

$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced healthcare professionals, providing specialized evaluation and evidence-based treatment to patients with orthopedic conditions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating patients' medical histories, performing physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests as necessary.
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, incorporating techniques such as Active Release Technique, Arthritis Management, and Manual Therapy.
  • Maintaining accurate records of patient progress, communicating effectively with healthcare teams, and collaborating with other specialists as needed.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Possession of a state license to practice as a Physician Assistant.
  • Experience working in an outpatient physical therapy setting or related field is preferred.
