Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Geriatric Care Specialist to join our team at Liberty Senior Living. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.

About the Role

  • Provide high-quality care and support to residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
  • Assist with oral hygiene, including denture care, as needed.
  • Maintain accurate patient care records, including intake and output documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the charge nurse.
  • Support the care needs of residents, including administering treatments as directed.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certified nursing assistant licensure required, listed in the DFS registry.
  • Ability to provide care for geriatric patients with empathy and compassion.
  • Willingness to receive and follow instructions from healthcare professionals.
  • Availability to attend in-service training and staff meetings as required.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $48,700 per year, based on industry standards and location. Our benefits package includes a sign-on bonus, comprehensive training, and opportunities for professional growth.
