Job Summary:

The Site Manager Operations Specialist is responsible for overseeing daily sanitation processes, ensuring budgets are managed effectively, and leading a team of facility staff. This role requires completing various tasks before, during, and after the sanitation shift to ensure the crew and floor are ready. The Specialist will work to guarantee all crews are working safely and efficiently, accompany inspectors at the conclusion of the shift, and monitor site budgets to prevent overspending.

This position involves direct oversight of site budgets and requires routine monitoring to ensure compliance with company standards. The Specialist must possess strong management skills to lead a large group of hourly associates and supervisors in achieving the same overall goal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with customer maintenance personnel pre-shift to ensure the floor is ready for sanitation.
  • Conduct group lockout training with new supervisors.
  • Issue new or replacement PPE to team members as necessary.
  • Ensure that all reporting sanitation team members and supervisors are adequately staffed, trained, and have the necessary equipment and personal protective equipment to perform their jobs safely and effectively.
  • Communicate any unusual or special sanitation requirements to necessary team members before the shift commences.
  • Perform inspections of the equipment that is cleaned and sanitized by the crew assigned to supervision.
  • Inspect and approve the reporting and departure times of the entire crew.
  • Accompany customer QA and USDA inspectors during Pre-Op inspections.
  • Maintain constant line of communication with customer management team with regard to sanitation operations.

Requirements:

  • 5-6 years of verifiable experience in a supervisory role within the Protein Processing industry or another heavy industry field; or certification that individual has successfully completed the QSI Site Management Training Program.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or some college courses.
  • Bi-lingual highly preferred (English/Spanish).

Salary Information:

Estimated Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
