Job Summary:

The Highway Infrastructure Specialist will perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor on highway construction projects sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Must have valid Texas driver's license
  • Must have underground utility experience
  • Operate hand and power tools of all types
  • Follow construction plans and instructions from supervisors
  • Load and unload construction equipment
  • Dig trenches, backfill holes, or compact earth to prepare for construction
  • Set up traffic control devices such as cones, signs, and barricades
  • Help maintain a clean and safe job site
Requirements:
  • Must be local to Austin area or surrounding
  • A minimum of 1 year relevant construction experience
  • Experience operating basic construction equipment
  • Hold and maintain a valid Texas driver's license
  • Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record check with minimal infractions
  • Must be willing and able to pass a physical examination
  • Willing and able to pass drug and alcohol screenings
  • Must be able to travel and work overtime, weekends and nights as needed
About the Role:

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of $21.00 per hour.

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic team environment and have access to benefits including health insurance, life insurance, and paid time off.

Schedule includes 10-hour shifts, 12-hour shifts, 8-hour shifts, evening shifts, Monday to Friday, night shifts, and weekends as needed.
