Occupational Medicine Specialist

We are seeking an exceptional Occupational Medicine Physician to join our team at Curative in South Richmond, VA. As a medical professional, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, providing comprehensive treatments, and prioritizing an exceptional patient experience.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Meticulously assess patient needs and offer treatment plans
- Diagnose and provide treatment for workplace injuries
- Conduct physical examinations for pre-placement, DOT, public safety, and surveillance purposes
- Evaluate and treat urgent care patients on a walk-in basis
- Oversee and collaborate with advanced practice providers within the clinic setting
- Perform various in-office procedures and maintain communication with employers
Schedule:
The selected candidate will work Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, and Tuesday, Thursday from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, with travel required on Tuesday and Thursday only.
Practice Setting:
This is an outpatient position, treating all ages, with approximately 25-35 patients per day.
Cases and Procedures:
- Work-related injuries
- Pre-placement, DOT, public safety, and surveillance physical examinations
- Suturing, lacerations, derma bonds, in-grown toenail removal, injections, drug screen collections, DOT physicals, and screenings
Compensation and Benefits:
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of $220,000 per year, paid on a weekly basis. Malpractice insurance is covered by Curative.
