About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Operations Manager to join our team at Burlington Stores, Inc. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the repair and maintenance of equipment, ensuring safety and production-related work orders are prioritized.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the repair and maintenance of equipment, ensuring safety and production-related work orders are prioritized.
  • Assign work orders and ensure that preventive maintenance programs are in place to minimize downtime.
  • Establish methods and procedures for departmental work activities, identify and resolve operational problems, and communicate expertise and approval concerning departmental activities.
  • Supervise, train, evaluate, and develop associates in the Maintenance department.
  • Oversee and ensure that building, grounds, and equipment are cleaned and maintained to maintain machinery and physical plant.
  • Supervise and oversee the facility's waste disposal program, ensuring waste is disposed of according to appropriate regulations.
  • Interact with DC management to ensure maintenance needs are met, touring facilities to ensure the condition of the facilities are maintained.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Five years of maintenance and supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and procedures, including best safety practices.
  • Analytical ability necessary to gather and interpret data, and develop, recommend, and implement solutions.
  • Strong management leadership, communication, organization, and administrative skills.
  • Strong knowledge of and skill in personal computers and engineering-related programs.
  • Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Physical requirements include the ability to lift and move boxes weighing 40 lbs. or more and the ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Candidates must have basic computer proficiency.
