Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Nurse Manager to join our team in the Obstetrics Perinatal Services department at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, Oregon.

This is a full-time leadership role that requires strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead and manage a team of nurses.

The successful candidate will have experience in obstetric nursing and possess the skills necessary to provide high-quality patient care, while also promoting a culture of safety and excellence within the department.

About the Role

As an Assistant Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing clinical leadership and guidance to staff nurses
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of policies and procedures
  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and data analysis
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • A current Oregon Registered Nurse License
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Experience in obstetric nursing, preferably in a leadership role
