Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $40,000-$48,000, based on a $20-$24 hourly rate and a full-time schedule with year-round work (12 months) Monday-Friday.

Job Description

Educational Leadership

As an Early Childhood Education Director at Discovery Isle Preschool, you will create, manage, and participate in various learning environments and activities that provide opportunities for students to develop to their fullest potential and achieve their learning objectives.

Culture and Quality

You will positively influence your peers to work toward and meet the school's vision of excellence, ensuring successful implementation of approved curriculum, and providing quality education programs.

Health & Safety

Prioritize a safe, clean, and attractive learning environment, maintaining compliance with accreditation and state licensing requirements, as well as all applicable state and federal laws, and internal policies and procedures.

Educate, Inspire, Engage

Develop life-long learners, genuinely care about children, and possess the sensitivity and knowledge to understand a child's individual needs while fostering an inclusive classroom.

Relationship Building

Have a strong desire to work collaboratively with a talented team of diverse educators and administrators, developing and maintaining interpersonal relationships with families, students, and the school community.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 12 credits in Early Childhood Education
  • Able to frequently walk, stand, sit, squat, stoop, reach, kneel, rise from the floor, twist, listen, read, write, and speak the English language
  • Often carry and lift 25 pounds or less (25-50%) and occasionally carry 25-50 pounds (10-25%)
