Job Summary

Kings Dominion is seeking a skilled Barista to join our Starbucks team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver legendary customer service by acting with a guest-first attitude and connecting with customers.
  • Follow Starbucks operational policies and procedures to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure partners can locate resources and products as needed.
  • Prepare and serve high-quality beverages and food products to our guests.
  • Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of Starbucks.
  • Anticipate customer and store needs by constantly evaluating the environment and customers for cues.
  • Assist with new partner training by positively reinforcing successful performance and providing respectful coaching as needed.

Requirements

  • Legendary guest service skills
  • Ability to work evening hours Friday and Saturday nights during our Haunt season
  • Meet store operating policies and standards, including cash handling and store safety and security
  • Engage with and understand our guests, including discovering and responding to guest needs through clear and pleasant communication
  • Ability to learn quickly and understand and carry out oral and written instructions
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
