Providence St. Vincent Medical Center is seeking an experienced nurse practitioner to join its Neuroscience Critical Care unit as a full-time Neurology Care Specialist.

About the Opportunity

As a Neurology Care Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a 12-bed critical care unit, supporting the inpatient neurocritical care and stroke service. Previous ICU experience is preferred, but not required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver compassionate and skilled patient care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans based on clinical expertise and evidence-based practice guidelines.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans in accordance with established medical protocols.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring timely and effective communication with healthcare teams.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess a Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or a related field, and hold current certification as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP).

A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in ICU settings is preferred, although new graduates may be considered if they demonstrate strong potential and a commitment to their professional development.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $120,000-$150,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
