Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Relief Analyst to join our Supply group at Anheuser-Busch Inc. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced brewery environment where you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our beer products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Run routine analytical analyses on beer samples, including pH, ballings, alcohol, sodium, and iron.
  • Run routine analyses of packaged beer for oxygen, carbon dioxide, fill level, etc.
  • Routine testing of pasteurizers for proper pasteurization.
  • Conduct inspection and analysis of package integrity and specifications.
  • Coordinate quality analyses ensuring accurate results, timely completion, and proper responses and notification.
  • Perform various studies, statistical analysis, participate in PDCA teams to improve quality throughout the brewery.
  • Other routine laboratory testing, as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a science-intensive or Engineering discipline (e.g. Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, etc.).
  • Ability to operate laboratory instruments and perform instrument maintenance.
  • Knowledge of basic laboratory procedures and techniques.
  • Strong technical, troubleshooting, 5S, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
  • Solid interpersonal skills and team orientation.
  • Must be flexible to work varying shifts during the week. Weekends and holidays may be required.
  • Comfortable working in a production environment.
  • Skilled in Minitab, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
