Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department at Amberwell Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will deliver exceptional patient care and contribute to a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities- Triage patients quickly and accurately, assessing and prioritizing needs
- Work collaboratively with doctors, Advanced Practice Providers and other healthcare team members to provide exceptional patient care
- Communicate effectively with all members/ departments of the healthcare team
- Provide evidenced-based care to patients of all ages utilizing the nursing process
- Perform ordered diagnostic testing
- Administer medications as ordered
- Evaluate patient response to intervention/therapy based upon expected outcomes
- Manage multiple patients simultaneously, prioritizing patient needs continually
- Delegate tasks appropriately
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Provide discharge and follow-up education, and instructions to patients

Qualifications- JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience: Minimum Required Experience: Experience in the healthcare setting with exceptional communication skills
- Education: Minimum Required Education: Completion of accredited ADN program
- Licenses: Minimum Required Licenses: Registered Nurse in the state of Kansas or compact license
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, must have within 90 days of hire
This role offers a salary range of $65,000-$80,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits and other perks include opportunities for growth, professional development, and recognition within our organization.
