Cardiovascular Technician

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technician to join our team at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital. As a Cardiovascular Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting with cardiac catheterization, vascular diagnostic, and interventional procedures. You will also perform emergency procedures associated with catheterization, including IAB and temporary pacer insertion.
Responsibilities
Assist in cardiac catheterization, vascular diagnostic, and interventional procedures
Perform emergency procedures associated with catheterization, including IAB and temporary pacer insertion
Follow established standards and practices under the direction of a credentialed invasive cardiologist or radiologist
Demonstrate knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology, as well as specific conditions, diseases, and treatment therapies for patient populations
Assist in data collection and documentation of patient findings and reports
Qualifications
High school or GED required
LPN with one year of experience in critical care or one year of cath lab experience
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and possess good interpersonal communication skills
