Job Summary
">We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct patient care in our 302-bed psychiatric hospital. As a CNA, you will work closely with licensed nursing staff to deliver quality care and promote mental wellness recovery.
">About the Role
">The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art psychiatric facility, Western State Hospital, located in the scenic Shenandoth Valley. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team that provides care and treatment to individuals with acute symptoms of mental illness and/or additional forensic/legal involvement.
">Responsibilities
">Your key responsibilities will include delivering quality care, monitoring and documenting vital signs, assisting patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), providing one-on-one direct observations, utilizing de-escalation techniques, administering CPR, serving meals, maintaining cleanliness in patient areas, and ensuring accountability within a safe and therapeutic environment.
">Requirements
">To be considered for this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with staff and patients. Previous healthcare experience, particularly in psychiatric care, is highly preferred.
