About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Specialist to join our Advanced Computing team for the Automotive Manufacturing sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies to drive adoption of AWS services in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute GTM strategies to drive adoption of AWS services in the automotive industry
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Partners, to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry experts
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to customers and partners on AWS services and solutions
  • Develop and deliver presentations, proposals, and other sales materials to support business development efforts
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform business development strategies
About the Team

The Advanced Computing team for the Automotive Manufacturing sector is part of Amazon Web Services, Inc.'s (AWS) Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO). Our team is responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies to drive adoption of AWS services in the automotive industry. We work closely with customers, partners, and industry experts to identify and pursue new business opportunities and to develop and deliver innovative solutions to meet the needs of our customers.

Requirements
  • 7+ years of relevant GTM, Sales, or Consulting experience
  • 5+ years of advanced computing experience
  • Experience with the Auto/Manufacturing industry
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills
  • Experience communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple teams, as well as internal and external executive stakeholders
  • Established track record of credibility as a technology advisor with customer executives (e.g. CEO, COO, CIO, CTO, CMO) and Line of Business Leaders
  • Experience and success in negotiating complex deals with customers and partners
  • Experience in a heavily matrixed sales environment, including developing, implementing, managing, and executing go-to-market growth initiatives and sales motions
  • Deep understanding of cloud technologies, including public and hybrid cloud platforms
  • Technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus
