Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Data Analyst to join our team at Natixis Global Asset Management. As a key member of our US Distribution Finance Team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed knowledge of our business model, including affiliated investment managers, product offerings, and sales distribution units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Model Development: Develop a deep understanding of our business model, including affiliated investment managers, product offerings, and primary measures for success within each sales distribution unit.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Act as a subject matter expert on internal reporting systems, including our transaction vendor management system (SFS/MARs), the data and business attributes maintained in our enterprise-data warehouse, and reporting and analysis tools such as Power BI and Business Objects.
  • Reporting and Dashboard Development: Build and handle recurring and ad hoc reporting for management, affiliate managers, and collaborators across the business, highlighting results by manager, product type, investment strategy, intermediary firm, and financial advisor.
  • Trend Research and Presentation: Research, highlight, and present trends as needed, acting as the primary contact and analyst between Finance and team members.
  • Data Transformation and Validation: Lead the data transformation, loads, and validation process pertaining to separately handled account and Natixis Models sales and asset files, coordinating with Finance and Data Operations to ensure files are loaded accurately and on time during each month-end close cycle.
  • RFP Process Leadership: Act as the Finance team leader pertaining to the RFP process, leading the RFP Dashboard in Power BI on behalf of Finance and the Investment Product Management Team.
  • New Product Setup: Lead new product setups for the Separately Managed Accounts business, gaining familiarity with our product suite, naming conventions, and reporting dependencies.
  • Financial Analysis and Forecasting: Provide analytical support pertaining to Natixis US Distribution wholesaler commission plan development, analysis, and administration, as well as analysis of financial data, developing presentations containing US Distribution financials, and providing forecasting support.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Finance, coupled with a minimum 3-4 years of related experience. Financial services proven experience is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in business reporting and analysis, preferably using Business Objects, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Detailed-oriented, high degree of intellectual curiosity, and very strong analytical skills.
  • Initiative and Time Management: Ability to take initiative and tackle problems independently, as well as stay productive and prioritize workflow amidst challenging priorities.
