At UC Health, we're seeking a skilled Sleep Technologist to join our team at the West Chester Sleep Lab. This is a part-time opportunity with a competitive salary and benefits package.

About the Role:

  • We are offering a $75,000 per year salary for this role.
  • This position involves acquiring artifact-free polysomnographic recordings that can be interpreted by a physician.
  • The successful candidate will educate patients on possible disorders and treatments.
  • Compiling reports summarizing the sequence of events during sleep studies is also an essential aspect of this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform accurate hookups according to the International 10/20 system.
  • Obtain artifact-free polysomnographic recordings.
  • Compile hourly charting that accurately reports the events of the night each hour.
  • Compile a report that summarizes the events of the night.
  • Ensure all paperwork has been completed and scanned into EMR/EHR.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in sleep technology is necessary.
  • Registration by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologies (BRPT) as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) and/or by the American Board of Sleep Medicine as a Registered Sleep Technologist (RST) is mandatory.
