Pharmacist - Patient Care Specialist

Patient Safety: Ensuring the safe handling and administration of medications, as well as maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
Pharmacy Professional Practice: Adhering to regulatory requirements and industry standards, while promoting excellence in patient care and customer service.
Regulatory Requirements: Staying up-to-date on changing regulations and laws, and ensuring compliance with all relevant standards.
Quality Assurance: Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the development of policies and procedures.
Customer Service: Providing exceptional service to patients and customers, while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
Personnel Management: Supervising and mentoring pharmacy technicians, while promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
Inventory Management: Managing inventory levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining accurate records.
Financial Profitability: Contributing to the financial success of the pharmacy, while maintaining a focus on patient care and customer satisfaction.
Loss Prevention: Identifying and mitigating potential risks, while promoting a culture of safety and security.
Workflow Management: Optimizing workflow processes, while ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead with Heart – display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues
- Motivate, inspire, and develop pharmacy support staff
- Identify critical business opportunities and contribute to the development of meaningful solutions
- Successfully implement solutions by leading the team to achieve specified goals

Requirements:
- Active pharmacy license in the state in which you are employed
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List
- Immunization certification through an accredited organization (i.e. APhA)
- Free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree
