Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Laptop Reimaging Specialist to join our team at Cyberteck Academy. In this part-time freelance position, you will be responsible for reimaging and maintaining Dell, Acer, and Toshiba laptops.

The ideal candidate will have experience with laptop reimaging using ghosting or clone software, as well as troubleshooting boot issues and installing missing software and drivers. You must also be able to pick up laptops from our storage locations in Columbia, Maryland, and Fairfax, Virginia, and return them once the job is complete.

This is an excellent opportunity for a freelance independent contractor to earn a supplemental income by making their schedule work on our broken laptops. The estimated salary for this position is $20-$25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:
  • Reimage laptops using a network setup through a switch and clone software of choice
  • Troubleshoot boot to Windows failure and other hardware issues
  • Pick-up broken laptops and return them once the job is complete
  • Attend virtual meeting or email updates on progress
Requirements:
  • Experience with laptop reimaging using ghosting or clone software
  • Ability to troubleshoot boot issues and install missing software and drivers
  • Availability to pick up laptops from our storage locations
  • Ability to work independently as a freelance contractor
