Overview

BAS Healthcare is seeking a Medical Director for Inpatient Services to lead our hospitalist team in Philadelphia. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a collaborative work environment.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned Hospitalist Physician to take on a leadership role in a dynamic and fast-paced healthcare setting. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our inpatient services, including clinical decision-making, staffing management, and quality improvement initiatives.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a highly competitive salary range based on experience, from $250,000 to $400,000 annually, plus quality incentives and a comprehensive benefits package, including retirement benefits, professional malpractice coverage, and paid CMEs.

Job Description

You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of physicians, mid-level providers, and support staff to provide exceptional patient care in a 200-bed hospital with a broad range of specialties. Your schedule will be 7 on, 7 off, with dedicated time for rounding and administrative tasks.

The hospital has a census of 10-14 patients per physician shift, with 60% of patients seen by Hospitalists and 40% by Private Physicians. Our Open ICU allows for flexibility and collaboration among team members.

Requirements

We are seeking a board-certified Hospitalist Physician with strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for quality improvement. Prior experience as a Medical Director or similar leadership role is preferred.
