Aveanna is a leading provider of home healthcare services, with a mission to revolutionize the way care is delivered. We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our team and provide high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes.
About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced LPN/LVN to work night shifts, providing one-on-one care to patients in need. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with families and caregivers to educate them on disease management and self-care techniques.
Responsibilities- Implementation of physician-prescribed care plans
- Patient assessments and coordination of care
- Administration of prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
- Timely documentation of care provided
- Health promotion, teaching, and training of family members
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse
- Current CPR certification
- Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures
