About the Position

The MSPCA Angell is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinary Technician to join our Anesthesia Department. As a Specialty Anesthesia Technician, you will provide anesthesia support for our surgeons and assist in the care of patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Perform anesthesia cases for assigned surgeons with guidance from anesthesiologists
  • Utilize technical and clinical knowledge to assess, monitor, and stabilize surgical cases
  • Demonstrate advanced anesthesia skills and communicate effectively with staff and visitors
  • Assist in the training process for new and current employees
Requirements

We are looking for applicants with at least 3 years of veterinary technician/assistant experience in an anesthesia exclusive environment. Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) required for a technician role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for this position.
