About the Opportunity
HealthPro Heritage is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our home health division in the Omaha/Council Bluffs coverage area. As a Speech Language Pathologist with our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and make a meaningful difference in their lives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities using standardized tests and clinical observations.
- Develop accurate diagnoses based on assessment results and implement evidence-based therapies for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible.
- Certification: Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC-SLP) preferred.
