Job Summary

The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the security operations at the DEA Protective Security Services site in El Paso, TX. This includes supervising Security Guards and enforcing regulations to prevent breaches of security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Security Guards and security operations
  • Enforce regulations and procedures to prevent breaches of security
  • Exercise judgment and discretion in responding to incidents and emergencies
  • Perform guard duties and demonstrate proficiency with firearms and other special weapons
  • Meet rigorous physical fitness standards

Requirements:

  • US citizenship and SECRET clearance
  • Level III commissioned security officer
  • Basic DHS/FPS SGIM/SMART Book Training course completion
  • Associates degree or three years of increasingly responsible administrative experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications and basic accounting skills

Working Conditions:

The Site Supervisor will work in a field environment with temperatures ranging from 10(-) degrees F in the winter to degrees F in the summer. The area is subject to blowing dust and sand.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

The Site Supervisor will supervise Security Guards and be responsible for their performance and conduct.
