Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced data scientist to join our Measurement team at Apple. The ideal candidate will have a passion for user privacy, superb communication skills, and the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading strategic technical projects with multiple stakeholders, directing work of other engineers and/or data scientists, and partnering with engineering groups to build tooling, processes, and methodologies. They will also engage in research on the development of data collection systems that enable training and evaluation of generative AI systems while preserving privacy.

Key Qualifications
  • Experience leading strategic technical projects with multiple stakeholders and directing work of other engineers and/or data scientists or as a technical lead
  • Strong collaboration, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to solve complex problems independently
  • Experience with foundation models, including training and evaluation
  • Programming experience
Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package. The base pay range for this role is between $207,800 and $378,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
