Job Summary

The Echocardiographer will work within the Cardiovascular Department at Johns Hopkins Medicine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform echocardiographic testing, including 2D echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs), and stress echo tests.
  • Ensure proper use of equipment, supplies, and clinical resources to deliver quality patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records and files.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience performing echocardiograms in a hospital setting.
  • Some supervisory experience preferred.
  • Registered as RCVT or RDCS required.
  • Echocardiograph certification preferred.
  • CPR required.

Compensation:

Salary range: $31.67 - $52.23 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience.
