Nurse Opportunities for Progressive Care

We are seeking a skilled Progressive Care Unit RN to join our team of travel nurses. As a PCU RN, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with patients who require close monitoring and frequent assessment, but aren't unstable enough to need ICU care. You will utilize computer equipment to monitor cardiac and other vital information, detecting any changes and thereby enabling intervention of life-threatening or emergency situations.
- Provide basic bedside care; stabilize critical cardiac patients.
- Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
- Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions to treatment.
- Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, and interpret and record electronic displays.

Compensation PackageThe estimated salary for this position is $120,000 per year based on 36 hours per week and 12 hour shifts. This includes tax-free stipend amount.
Requirements & QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you should have:
- 2 Years of experience in a PCU setting.
- A current ACLS and BLS certification.
