Job Overview

The Cardiac Telemetry Nurse is a vital member of our team at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center, providing exceptional patient care in our Cardiovascular Services department. About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in Cardiac Telemetry to join our dynamic team. Your role will involve monitoring patients with cardiac conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage patients with cardiac conditions, including atrial fibrillation, congestive heart failure, and coronary artery disease.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless transitions of care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A current Oregon RN license.
  • 1 year of experience as a Cardiac Telemetry nurse or in a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac rhythms, medications, and interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
