Rehabilitation Nursing Team Lead

HCA Florida Capital Hospital offers a dynamic opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as a Rehabilitation Nursing Team Lead. This pivotal role is responsible for coordinating and directing nursing care in the rehabilitation department, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes and excellent customer service.
Job Summary:The Rehabilitation Nursing Team Lead will oversee daily operations, manage staff resources, and promote a culture of teamwork and collaboration among nursing personnel. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, effective communication, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient-centered care.
- Participate in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services provided in the unit, collaborating with other management team members.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create a supportive environment that fosters improved outcomes and service.
- Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Support facility efforts to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
- Recommend courses of action related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
- Assist with staff scheduling, managing all practical aspects of staff labor according to patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
- BLS certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Registered Nurse Diploma or Associate Degree
- APRN or RN licensure required

Compensation Package:The estimated salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
