About the Opportunity

This Therapy Access Consultant position offers a unique chance to make a difference in patients' lives by facilitating access to necessary therapies. As a key member of the Syneos Health team, you will work closely with various stakeholders to educate and support patients in accessing therapy.

Your primary focus will be on providing disease state education and training, ensuring that patients have the knowledge they need to effectively manage their conditions. To achieve this goal, you will collaborate with internal teams, including Market Access, Medical Affairs, Advocacy, Marketing, and Regional Business Liaisons.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing education plans for healthcare providers and patients on specific disease states and/or product use.
  • Evaluating and optimizing product coverage based on benefits and the steps needed to gain prior authorization for medication access.
  • Promoting the optimal application and use of therapy to drive patient satisfaction leading to more effective patient outcomes.
  • Identifying and sharing information on co-pay assistance programs, national foundations, and free drug programs with patients as appropriate.
  • Supporting advocacy group initiatives.
  • Collaborating with commercial and medical counterparts in assigned territory.

Required qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Registered Nurse preferred
  • Minimum 5 years pharma/account management experience
  • Oncology experience required
  • Patient interaction and support experience preferred
  • Biologic/biotech buy and bill experience in a reimbursement role preferred

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $95,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on location and experience, plus benefits such as health insurance, 401k matching, flexible paid time off, and sick time.
