We have an exciting opportunity for an electrical engineer to join our mission-critical team, focusing on high-tech building design and construction. This role involves designing electrical systems and equipment for safe and functional workplaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing Electrical Systems: Develop innovative electrical designs that meet client needs and safety codes.
  • Client Advisory Services: Provide expert advice on electrical systems and requirements to clients.
  • Installation Monitoring: Ensure compliance with design specifications and safety codes during equipment/system installation.
  • Design Criteria Development: Participate in developing protective device coordination, relay applications, medium voltage transformers, switchgear, and distribution system design criteria.
  • Electrical Design Reviews: Review electrical designs and specifications for purchased or fabricated equipment/systems.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of electrical engineering experience, consulting preferred.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of standard engineering techniques and procedures, excellent communication skills, analytical problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in computer-aided design software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Data Center Experience: Previous experience working on data center or telecommunication facility projects.
  • Critical Facility Knowledge: Understanding of critical facility electrical design principles and NFPA codes (70, 70E, 75, 101).
  • EIT/PE Certification: EIT professional designation with ambition to attain PE license.
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary range for this position is $120,000 - $175,000, depending on qualifications, location, and experience. Our benefits package includes health insurance, disability coverage, time off, wellness programs, and participation in our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) and 401(k) retirement program.
