Assist local Toolmaker (Responsible, if no Toolmaker) for mold shop operations, including mold cleaning, inspection, maintenance, repairs, and inventory control of all mold-related spare parts.
Main Responsibilities:- Mold Maintenance and Cleaning
- Inspecting and Preventative Maintenance
- Documentation and Record-Keeping
- Machining and Repairs
- Sandblasting Molds and Blow Pin Tips
- Sharpening Cutting Rings and Stitch Knives
- Reporting Damaged Equipment to Toolmaker/Production Manager
- Inventory Control and Management
- Maintaining Accurate Records of Mold-Related Drawings
- Orders Spare and/or Replacement Parts as Needed
- Liaising between Plant and External Mold Vendors
- Supplying Needed Documentation
- Acting as Main Contact for Technical Department
- Maintaining Communication between NOAM Mold Specialists on All Mold-Related Matters
The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
