Senior Data Analyst, Biomedical Informatics

Job OverviewWe are seeking an exceptional Senior Data Analyst to join our Computational Analytics Team, working closely with experimentalists in Platform Discovery, Immunology, and Protein Sciences to develop and implement computational solutions. This role requires a talented individual with expertise in data analytics, machine learning, and statistical analysis to extract valuable insights from our extensive DECODE immune synapse database.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze complex biological data using advanced statistical techniques to identify relationships and patterns.
- Develop, evaluate, and implement robust analytical methods and models to support discovery and development efforts.
- Collaborate with scientists to design and optimize machine-learning models for identifying signals and features in multiplexed assay data.
- Maintain familiarity with scientific literature to inform method development and benchmarking.
- Create intuitive visualizations and user interfaces to facilitate communication with wet lab scientists.
- Support the processing and interpretation of next-generation sequencing (NGS) data to ensure timely delivery of results.
- Masters or PhD degree in Data Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Machine Learning, Statistics, or related field.
- Extensive experience working with multi-dimensional datasets and programming languages like Python.
- Familiarity with popular libraries such as pandas, numpy, and scipy.
- Background in performing principal component analysis, multivariate regressions, ANOVA, Bayesian statistics, and other relevant statistical methods.
