Job Description:

We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join our team in Searcy, AR. As a key member of our educational team, you will work closely with teachers and administrators to provide individualized support to students who require additional assistance. Your role will involve assisting educators in executing lesson plans, providing one-on-one or small group support to students, and aiding in classroom management to foster a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist educators in executing lesson plans and teaching activities.
  • Provide individualized or small group support to students needing extra help.
  • Aid in classroom management to foster a positive learning environment.
  • Support students with special needs, following their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as instructed.
  • Supervise students during lunch, recess, and field trips.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to monitor and enhance student performance.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and behavior.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's or bachelor's degree in education or a related field is preferred.
  • Prior experience working with children, especially in educational settings, is a plus.
  • Understanding of educational practices and classroom management strategies.
