We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team at MultiCare Health System, Inc.

About the Opportunity

As a staff RN with MultiCare, you will be part of a collaborative environment where nurses are empowered to make clinical decisions, foster open communication, and grow professionally.

You will have the opportunity to prioritize, delegate, deliver, and evaluate patient care on an ongoing basis, utilizing your knowledge base to deliver nursing care according to hospital policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
  • Utilize the knowledge base of nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction.
  • Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff, and members of the health care team.
  • Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire; RN with 15+ years of service or internal candidates hired before January 1, 2021 may be considered in satisfaction of this requirement in lieu of an education agreement.
  • Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred.
  • Registered Nurse license (RN) in Washington State or multi-state licensure endorsement (MSL).
  • Current BLS Certification required.
  • ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC or NRP certification, as required by facility or department.
  • Certification in specialty area preferred.
  • One (1) year of experience in acute care setting preferred.
