Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Orthopedic Registered Nurse to join our team at Mercy Hospital. As an Orthopedic Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to patients with orthopedic conditions, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to patients with orthopedic conditions, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.
- One or more of the following certifications: ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, BLS, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E.
