Safety Care Master Trainer Job Description

Safety-Care Master Trainers provide QBS-designed training programs primarily in behavior change and management to customers requiring skills in these areas. They train in various settings, including educational, residential, and treatment settings using a Train-the-Trainer model.

This role involves significant travel, with Master Trainers traveling 30 weeks per year and conducting training classes in their local area when not traveling. They do not have direct client contact.

Applicants should have experience working in one or more of the following settings: educational, residential, in-home, clinic, or hospital settings, with experience serving individuals with diagnoses varying from autism/DD, traumatic brain injury, to psychiatric disorders, who have exhibited a range of challenging behaviors.

  • Implement and conduct QBS training programs as prescribed and dictated in training manuals and other directive materials.
  • Arrange and travel to customer sites to conduct multi-day training programs in the US or internationally as assigned, which will involve overnight stays and some weekend travel.
  • Maintain and promote customer service and satisfaction through professional behavior and responding to questions, concerns, and complaints in a timely manner.
  • Assist with customer support by responding to emails or phone calls and participating in activities including presentations of QBS products and services, and other activities as assigned.
Requirements
  • Possess a minimum of 3-5 years experience providing consultation and training in behavioral principles and procedures to para/professionals in one or more of the following areas: autism/developmental disabilities services, adolescent or adult psychiatric settings, brain injury rehabilitation, or other relevant human services settings.
  • Experience in hospital or residential settings preferred.
  • Experience with high intensity behavioral challenges required.
  • Travel 30 weeks per year with some weekend travel.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
  • Access to strong and reliable internet connection for customer and internal webinars and meetings.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
