Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Opportunity at AdventHealth Medical Group

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Level 2 NICU at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Florida.
Job Summary:The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner will provide high-quality patient care to newborns and their families in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Nursing with Neonatal Certification and 1-2 years of experience in the NICU as an RN or APRN.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans
- Order and interpret labs, x-rays, and other diagnostic studies
- Perform procedures such as intubation, lumbar puncture, and chest tube placement
- Communicate effectively with parents and other healthcare professionals
- Provide education and support to patients' families
- Master's degree in Nursing with Neonatal Certification
- 1-2 years of experience in the NICU as an RN or APRN
- Valid Florida APRN License with Neonatal certification
- Certification through ANCC or other nationally recognized certifying body
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification
