Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Specialist to join our team at Kelly. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse operations.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that involves working in a fast-paced environment to meet customer delivery requirements. You will be responsible for reviewing daily shipment schedules, planning and prioritizing work schedules to ensure timely delivery, and leading start-of-shift safety meetings to discuss injuries, safety trends, and hazards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform monthly inventory count and analyze discrepancies with coordinator.
  • Maintain accurate pick records and report discrepancies to coordinator.
  • Keep warehouse area sanitary and neat, assist with minor repairs and housekeeping.
  • Review daily shipment schedule, plan and prioritize work schedule to meet customer delivery requirements.
  • Lead start-of-shift safety meeting to discuss injuries, safety trends and hazards.
  • Check specification sheets and pallets of product to meet customer specifications.
  • Review daily inventory against delivery schedules to minimize handling and damage.
  • Lead team members in conducting daily safety checks of forklift trucks, restraining systems and maintenance needs.
Requirements
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to perform normal job functions (bend, twist, pull and stand).
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50lbs.
  • Knowledge of computer components and parts is preferred.

The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
