Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Calibration Technician to join our team at Johnson Service Group. This is a 6 month + contracting opportunity with a world leading pharmaceutical company located in Hopewell, NJ.

The hourly rate for this position is $30.00 to $40.00, and the assignment is expected to last 6 months to a year with potential for direct hire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Learn new skills regarding calibration and calibration processes.
  • Previous experience with electronic or pressure training is preferred.
  • Basic mathematical skills including algebra, geometry, and statistics are required.
  • Familiarity with basic tools and proficiency with office computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook are necessary.
  • Basic organizational and time management skills, as well as basic interpersonal skills to interact with customers, are essential.
  • The position will include team lead responsibilities.
  • Candidates with experience in PMEL, PME, TMDE, Metrology, Calibration, ASQ CCT, METCAL, GPETE, Electronics, GCAMS, and similar fields are preferred.
  • Determine work priorities and effectively manage workload to complete duties within demand and time constraints and in compliance with known standards.
  • Provide training as needed to identified individuals with guidance from the department manager.
Requirements
  • For Mid-Sr. Level Techs, 5-10 years of experience as a Metrology Technician is required.
  • Must be able to calibrate basic components up to but not limited to centrifuges, refrigerators, freezers, pressure gauges, and transmitters.
  • Preference for knowledge of typical pharmaceutical/biotech bench top and process equipment.
  • Must be able to interpret and understand Engineering Drawings, also known as P&ID or blueprints or prints.
