Surgical Technologist with Aseptic Expertise

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at CHRISTUS Health. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Operating Rooms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and care for pre-operative patients
- Maintaining aseptic techniques and actively monitoring situations that could lead to breaches in technique
- Providing comfort and support for pre-operative patients by demonstrating sensitivity to patient care and privacy
- Transporting patients to and from the Operating Room suite
- Positioning patients according to the type of surgery
- Caring for biological specimens
- Preparing the Operating Room by setting up tables, instruments, and supplies according to the type of case

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of the Surgical Technology program or an accredited LVN/LPN program required
- 2 or more years of experience preferred
- BLS required
- Certification of Surgical Technologist from The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting within 180 days of graduation or LVN/LPN License required
Salary Estimate
The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
