Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on manufacturing equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
  • Repair and maintain facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, compressed air, and humidification.
  • Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate measurements and repairs.
  • Perform basic handiwork, such as replacing light bulbs, ballasts, water, and air filters, and plumbing fixtures.
  • Operate machine tools, such as grinders and drill presses, to repair or fabricate machine parts and/or fixtures.
  • Troubleshoot electric and electronic problems, as well as mechanical components.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is running at optimal levels.
  • Work on call as required to ensure timely resolution of equipment issues.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records to track equipment performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Operate scissor lifts and forklifts safely and efficiently.
Requirements
  • 3 years' experience in machine maintenance or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of AC/DC motors and basic electric and mechanical safety principles.
  • Basic computer experience and knowledge of hand tools and small power tools.
  • Ability to work on-call as needed and maintain good attendance.
  • Acute troubleshooting skills and willingness to work overtime as needed.
