Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team at RCM Life Sciences and IT. As a key member of our IT BRM and PMO team, you will play a critical role in defining software requirements and ensuring those requirements are accurately developed.

Your primary responsibility will be to act as a bridge between project stakeholders and IT teams, driving necessary business communication and forging strong relationships with business relationship managers.

You will lead the effort of defining software requirements, working closely with Product Owners, Developers, Project Managers, and QA Analysts to deliver business technology solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Interfacing with internal and external stakeholders to determine business, functional, and technology requirements
  • Documenting those requirements and working with Product Owners, Developers, Project Managers, and QA Analysts to deliver business technology solutions
  • Analysis and recommendation of innovative solutions to improve efficiency and quality of process, increase productivity, availability, and performance
  • Documentation of requirements, test case oversight, and change management procedures from a business owner perspective
  • Collaboration with the Product Owner, Stakeholders, and Delivery Team(s) to gather functional and non-functional requirements
  • Facilitating sessions with all relevant stakeholders to drive clarity and agreement on requirements
  • Oversight of the design of applications and the mapping of functional business requirements into technical requirements/agile stories
  • Transition of services and oversight of application migration when appropriate
  • Responsible for the overall planning, execution, and success of assigned projects

Requirements include:

  • Strong business analysis and project management skills (ideally 5+ years of BA experience)
  • Strong experience in gathering and defining requirements, analyzing/mapping business processes, supporting the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of solutions, services, products, and applications
  • Good understanding of Enterprise Architecture
  • Good knowledge of business information technology best practices and a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Strong analytical skills and proven track record of utilizing team-based approach to quickly and accurately resolve system/solution issues
  • Strong understanding of system development, IT, and business process and their inter-relationship
  • Capability to motivate others within a non-direct reporting structure to execute change
  • Strong communication and writing skills on a business and technical level
  • Strong skills in documentation for business and technology user audiences

Preferred qualifications include:

  • PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA)

Education and certifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
